IT WAS IN THE "Snatch"
Client’s request:
The TOP DOG fist fighting promotion turned to us for help developing the design of its website.
Decision:
Since TOP DOG is a promotion for non—professional fighters, we decided to build a creative concept in the style of the "Snatch". Popular among the target audience, the film says: every "street dog" can come and become the best.
We have developed all visual details based on the core elements of the brand: "masculinity", "superiority", "the way of the warrior", "rivalry", and "fortitude".
To engage the audience more, TOP DOG pays a lot of attention to promoting the personalities of the fighters: tells their stories and finds the internal and external drama behind the fights.
For example, the wasp symbolizes speed and aggression, as well as the ability to deliver numerous and accurate blows. Defending its territory, the wasp instantly reacts to the threat and attacks first, but acts strategically, and spends forces only on fundamentally important fights. We developed this graphic sign for Ekaterina Golovata based on her philosophy of life and style of fighting.
We have made graphic signs-symbols that metaphorically reflect the uniqueness of each fighter's competitive path. And we have also developed individual backgrounds for placing images of fighters to increase the overall atmosphere of the underground of TOP DOG sports events.
Results:
The client and his audience received an expressive branded website with a user-friendly interface that reflected all the key features of the industry and conveyed a unique atmosphere of fist fights.
